Music to Mod by :)

Some of my presonal musical favs

I plan on spending most of the day doing Mod work today and as such it's important to have a good sound-track to work by. Mostly I'll be doing photoshop work making some custom skins (expect pics in the modding section by the end of the day). Anyway, here's some music (in video form) from some of my favorite bands that I'll be jamming out to today. Enjoy :)

Type O Negative: My Girlfriend's Girlfriend (one of the best videos EVER ;) )

White Zombie: More Human Than Human (before he went solo as Rob Zombie)

Flaw: Recognize (No actual video for this song, just music with a still pic, kick ass song though)

What do you like to listen to?

I like me some Rage :) Some of their songs anyway. Others are a little too "rap sounding" for my tastes. The only Rap I like is OLD School, 80's stuff. Of course Rage isn't anywhere near classified as Rap, still, some of their songs I don't care for are rappish to my ears. They do have some really killer tunes too though.

Saw them and Tool live at A lalapalooza before they got big, didn't really know what I was seeing but I ignored the main stage, and have been a fan ever since!!! #:( The last song I believe is a cover of a MC5 tune!

Might be a bit of an acquired taste, but here is my contribution.

Good background music:

This is also good for the background:

Wanted to add this, still my favorite music video. The first couple minutes is meant as a parody/mockery of the rapper attitude, the payoff is worth it:

Just found this one, I should have been there to see it, damn it!

Excellent find Jeff!! That kicked ass!!! I've seen Serj twice now in concert. Once was at the second to last "Earthday Birthday" show I went to. Not the one we just had but the one before that. You know, now that I think about it I want to say either "Tool" or "A Perfect Circle" played with them as well so it might have been the same tour you saw. I know some of the core bands on the tour played all over the country that year and the name of the event changed depending on where they were playing and what rock station from the radio (if any) was involved with the show and marketing.

It is possible, Alice in Chains and Primus were the big draw that year! The show was held in the parking lot of the Charlotte Motor Speedway in July, good times with a 4:00 in the morning hangover! I learned that year to run from the Smart Drinks, ground up B12 in a smoothie is not your friend in that situation. I want to say that was 97 it was the Tales From the Punchbowl tour of Primus! It was the Fox station in Charlotte doing the promos.A Perfect Circle came years after that show.

That video is not mine, I am not sure when it was done I am just jealous I wasn't there to see it!!! }:)

Can't spell either!!

Ahh, ok, yeah this was two years ago or a year ago, not 97. Speaking of Alice and Chains, man I'm glad they're putting stuff out again. Saw them with Type-O years ago before they split. I think it was at an Ozzfest. It's hard to remember without pulling out ticket stubs. After a while so many years of concerts and good times build up they all just kinda blur together into one big memory LoL.

This was before Lane Stanly passed, and I got to give it to him the man came out in a 3 piece suit and did the show in that heat. They had sound issues and half the channel got blown away by the wind. But they still rocked it!

Aw screwy. I don't really know how to embed these silly things.

Magicwillnz, to embed you copy the embed code, Once you have that click the HTML  spot next to the broom, paste and then click the update button, then post! learned it from my man Raven X ! It has worked for me so far! those are very simplified instructions I know but it would be easier for me to tell you how to build a PC than tell you how to use HTML! It is still magic to me!!

That's right, he's great guitarist. Do you ever listen to Blind Guardian? ...if not you have to!

Here is another Band i'm listening to. The Singer / Guitarist is Chuck Schuldiner (R.I.P.). The Band is called DEATH.

Maybe not everybody's kind of music...

If you like that then try listen to this (it's a little more "mainstream" but oh well... they know how to craft a metal song)

>>> All that remains_<<<

And to clean my ears after all that jazz : >>> December FLower from In Flames <<<

Nice. Vieux, are you in the south United States by any chance? (Edit: nope, your profile says you're in France). I asked that because a lot of the stuff you're posting has been getting a lot of radio play here in the US. "All That Remains" is a pretty popular band here too. I'd have to agree though that they are a little "mainstream" for my tastes. We'll see how decent they are by whether or not they stick around or if they just put out a album or two and then drop off the face of the Earth which has seemed to be the case with a lot of the newer bands in the last few years.

Yeah man, just do that Will, should solve your problem brother. Just remember when copying the "Embed" code from any website that when you paste it in a "HTML Box" on here that you only use the part that starts and ends with <embed> . Anything in-front of or behind that isn't needed. There's definitely some good tunes in your list there :) .

Nope, I live in France, and the music I listen to don't get any radio play. Almost all songs I like to listen to are from the 90s, when I was a teenager :P

Another one : >>> Emperor - The loss and curse of reverence <<<

or older things like : >>> At the gates - Into a dead sky <<< or >>> At the gates - Suicide Nation <<<

Now, I feel old with only 32 springs :P
