How do you open WMPskins in SS?

I want to check how other people did stuff and I cant get anything to open but my own.

if u ve winzip 9 all u ve to do is right click on the skin package & choose extract.. after that u maybe able to open those skins in SS...

SkinStudio can't open them directly. You have to start a new one using the default template. You create the skin in SkinStudio as a Universal Skin Format skin. Then, when you want to test it, you export it as a WMP skin.

I'm almost done with mine ,I just wanted to see if someone elses settings would fix a few probs I'm having.But its not like WB where you can open up another skin to get answers.

The default template has some problems that I'm trying to get some answers on.The problems followed the default into my skin.(magic pink in the video and playlist window)

Plus ,I must have zipped it wrong,the zipped file was non-functional.I zipped the folder with winrar and sent it to someone and after they located the skin file and clicked on it ,it worked.

Is there a certain way im SS you have to zip for dist.?
