What are you listening to?

I recently grabbed the discography of 'The Butterfly Effect' off of Ebay, and I must say it's pretty impressive stuff!  I've got them all loaded onto my iPod and its certainly making work more entertaining.  I highly recommend the tracks 'Beautiful Mine' and 'Gone' for anyone who likes this kind of rock.

What about everyone else?

And, please, no Justin Beiber.

Listening to jack-asses complain about shit that is their fault to begin with.

At this very second ... Life in the Fast Lane by the Eagles. They're probably the most versatile band I've ever heard. Every one of their songs is completely unique. Listen to Hotel California, then Lyin' Eyes, then Life in the Fast Lane. You won't believe that it's the same band lol.

But in general, I listen to everything from the Beatles and Elton John to Deep Purple and Bad Company.

Please what guy can honestly say they listen to him.....lol

To be honest, I listen to the glee mixes more than other songs I got on my iPod (lol I got like 800 songs too, and glee only makes up only 12 songs) but I also listen to Bon Jovi (Livin' on a Prayer mostly, wooooooooooooah, but lost highway and it's my life [lol more like the the glee's version of its my life / usher's confession part ii] isn't bad)

^You and I could almost be best friends, if you can cut that first sentence out.

I am currently into the glee mixes too, my fave is Total Eclipse of the Heart at the moment.

Also, both of Justin Bieber's albums are not bad, full of wonderful catchy songs. If you can give it a try you'll probably like it. Like who can honestly say they hate "Baby"?

This is why we have a thread called "Ninki's Gender." You totally send mixed signals.

I have not heard "Baby", but I strongly suspect I would hate it. In fact, I have a mild phobia about babies in general.

Trust me, you don't want to hear it. Just imagine a pre-pubescent teenage boy with heavy distortion whining out the word baby a hundred times.

36 crazyfists "Tide and it's Takers"

Atmosphere "When Life Gives You Lemons..."

Avenged Sevenfold "Waking the Fallen"

Long Beach Dub Allstars "Seven Wonders"

I know, I'm all over the place with this list.

Well you also send mixed signals too! I can't tell if you're 16 or 36.

Think of an angel eloquently reciting the word baby over and over until you fall into a deep trance where you feel like everything in life is filled with joy. That is the real "Baby."

That sounds worse.

Now, see, I think this would have more appeal if that angel wasn't a 12 year old boy who looked like this:

Just my opinion there.

I'm looking into some alternative rock, like Within Temptation.  Anyone have any recommendations?

^Looks fine to me. Let's all pray that he won't turn out like Aaron Carter.

You must try it. It's better than loud noises.

Evanessence or newer AFI sound similar enough that you might enjoy them.  Not positive since I've only heard one of their tracks.

ELO is a guilty pleasure for me right now. I just love the songs turn to stone and evil woman.

They do have a lot of bad songs though...
