Whenever I press Ctrl + I to make my text Italic..... it does this! The font effect doesn't show up in the post window..... it only does it in the "posted" post.
It does it in the editing box for me in my updated FireFox browser, and it's very annoying.
p.s. This also seems like further non-scientific evidence support the theory that most dev shops hate keyboards and/or literacy is almost over, in world-historical terms. At this rate, in another decade or two MS Office will include a new app that makes PowerPoint look like a stone age tool when it comes to making both speakers and listeners feel unjustifiably smart.

Seems to be working fine for me. Try doing a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) and posting again. Maybe your browser is still using an older version of the javascript file.

Bara, this seems to be an erratic thing for me not affected by restarts or hard refreshes. Wednesday when I read your reply 3, the only problem I was getting was some slipperiness/stickiness when it came to using CTRL+I to toggle italics. Today, CTRL+I was still not acting stable, but I could get a draft that looked right until after I submitted it (https://forums.elementalgame.com/380406).
I did some research and it seems to be a bug with TinyMCE (the editor we use in the forums). You can view more information here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2988235&group_id=103281&atid=635682
Apparently this bug has been fixed in an upcoming release of TinyMCE. I'll be sure to update when they release the next stable version
