Hello everyone. I'm monarch_dodra aka happypal.

Appart from being a great fan of Demigod, I am also the admin over at the Demigod Wiki. We have been dead for a while, but I have been trying to get the website back to life recently, with the recent release of 1.20.

I am here for 3 reasons:

1- I want to know if you know about the wiki? Have you ever used it? Is our work appreciated?

2- I want to know what you think of it, what kind of content you'd like to see etc. What should we work on?

3- I want to shamelessly ask for your support. Working alone on a wiki is no easy task. If you have any experience about anything, come tell the comunnity. We need guides, articles on skills, on items etc.

I have already created pages and numeric content for mostly everything, but I can't do the textual articles and reviews all by myself (and that is not the point anyways). I need your help!

I've been there before. It was the thing that convinced me to buy the game :)

Not sure what there is today though. Maybe you could try to add the strategies from this forum and put them there?

I'm not sure I will have to time help since my current wiki time goes to the All Mother.

I used it frequently when it was up-to-date; but, when I saw that it had outdated information, I stopped using it. I will return to using it when you have been successful in rallying your troops to repair it!

1) Yes, yes, taken for granted. ;)

2) It's good, look at DemigodDB as additional info, more graphs and charts. Some content is too deep in clicks (eg: minion idols)

3) Some content is bad because of this.

of course ur work is appreciated just because its publicity and commercial for demigod and thats always a good thingy.

 

What we really need imho is an updated www.demigoddb.com. If ur capable of reproducing such a skill calc on your site..that would be amazing. But i guess thats bit more than a one day task.....

 

But anyways..thx for your work on the demigod wiki...i think its the only updated source for the gamestats atm...so its of great use.

I use it for pulling up raw data that demigoddb doesn't have (which is over-all superior when it comes to builds, etc).

This is:

demigod skill information that isn't included directly in the tooltip (TB's auras, Queen Compost, etc etc), esp if I'm going to copy-paste it because the wiki is copy-pastable while demigoddb/my mind is not.

creep hp/damage/frequency/gold information
