Hi there, i have downloaded the latest version of the mod and i am LOVING it. currently playing as the feds, i really like the soverign when its fully upgraded, almost unstoppable, esp when you have 4 of them. So far no crashes or mini dumps. One problem, well its not  serious problem. One of the Klingon ships, the kvort i think its called, the model seems to be incomplete or the polys/faces are facing the wrong way as the ship, seems to be see through except for the wings on the model. Also the fed refinery ship should the textures be stretched? Apart from that those the mod is awesome. Can't wait until you get some voices for the Dominion and some structures for them.

Yeah...that fed refinery ship is big,ugly and eating precious resources. And one of the few ships in game has has an exhaust . Hey guys, what possibility's are there now that they figured out how to make the AI build superweapons ver. 1.3?

Some of the meshes have flipped faces like the Kvort. Some meshes have other annoying errors. It is a known issue, but low priority right now until at least a new version of convertxsi is released. I would try to fix it all myself, but i have absolutely no free time.  We need modelers. Or at least someone that knows how to fix this stuff.  Right now i think there is only one other modeler on the team. If you can mesh, or texture, and know your way around XSI contact Jaytlrpcs.

The priority is Functionality, and Gameplay. That must come first. Then we will worry about fixing all of the small mesh details later ;)

Fighting the Borg is a real bummer. They seem grossly unbalanced. I'll set up a Starbase with lots of phaser turrets but a couple of Spheres will warp in and still manage to destroy everything.

I rarely play against the Borg ai cause well, I don't like losing, but you need a race in every game where you still shit you pants when you see them.

Hey, not sure if this is connected to the issues you guys are investigating, but I keep getting mini-dumps

 

Happened twice so far, both times I've been the Dominion facing AI Federation. Just now, it happened when there was a fleet engaged in a battle. Got the graphics setting adjusted a bit down from defaults. Both times I've gotten about 45min-1hr into the game

 

Even with that, I'm loving the mod though!

Because you can't.  The replicating mines are built from the structure list.

Haven't played 1.21 yet. I may have downloaded the 1.21a patch, thought, 'thats a strange patch, there's only like 5 files' and not realised the main dl was new. I'm ashamed to say it has taken several days to work out my error. Downloading now.

To remind you guys again Sins Diplomacy is about to go through several of updates to 1.3. If you want to keep playing the mod. You need to ether....

1) Do not update Sins.

2) Back up your diplomacy 1.21, and install it as a separate installation. Just zip up your entire SotSE installation and extract it into a new folder. Call it Sins 1.21 or whatever. The game will still work from that folder, and mods will still load for 1.21 if you keep the mods-diplomacy 1.21 folder.

This will have to be done until we can update the mod to make it compatible the latest version of Diplomacy.

I experienced the mini dump as the Klingons too, so I'm gonna reinstall the patch and play some. Maybe I just did something stupid

Like I said, there's an untraced error somewhere in there that's causing grief.  It's rare, exceedingly so, and doesn't give us a clue to where it's located.

Hello, I have a small problem. I've changed a few little things for me, among other things, by "technology sharing" the research-to-get. Now I've discovered something strange. The "call to battle" capability of the federation starbase can now "Kvort cruiser" for those spawn of attacking me. so it was not intended:) can someone give me as a tip, where the fault lies?

Had a couple of mini-dumps, but that was first turning on the mod and first playing a map. Has been fine since. Once again, awesome work guys. Romulan starbase is shiny. :D

Ya, I mini-dump 100% of the time if I try to play it immediately after enabling the mod. However, it works fine if I start Sins with the mod enabled.

I can not load me Big Star Trek Map which i creat with Galaxy Forge 3, i always see the
Loading Screen but the loading bar does nothing but the PC work.

I can't play for some reason. I'm currently running Diplomacy v1.21, I've downloaded the mod multiple times as well as the patch, so I've installed and uninstalled and reinstalled and it still won't play. I do know that I don't have the 7 zip zip utility to unpack the mod if that helps. I tried to download it however the download has expired. I'm at a loss, is my not having the 7 zip zip utility the only thing holding me back?

If you haven't unpacked the mod how can you try to play it? Get WinRAR and you can extract the 7zip file.
