Diplomacy

I came home, checked my email, and low and behold a receipt from stardock was waiting in the inbox.  I of course thought it a mistake, so I checked my new game downloads section in Impulse and was delighted to see Sins: Diplomacy waiting to be downloaded.  I then immediately downloaded and installed it.

I'm quite excited to be part of the Beta for this game!  Just in time for Thanksgiving too!  Thanks a ton Stardock!  You guys are awesome.  I've been looking forward to more Sins and here it is (well in Beta form, so I can actually contribute to the progress of the game). 

I will say that I hope SD is reconsidering to make the 3rd micro expansion as they were going to do.  Sins is one of those "all time favorite" games.  Definitely in the top 5 of my list.  Though more actual story and campaign would have made it all the better, I am glad that those peoples at stardock focused on the game play rather than the story.

Anyway, I just figured I'd post a thanks to those at stardock!

i was surprised, too. but i dont know what the new research do, i have anywhere string not found. Maybe a Germanversion problem? i could need english string data then =)

Where is the beta forum?

it is possible to install the english diplomacy version with my german account?

Hi there.

I've the prob with "string not found" , to solve it you have to delete your "german.str" form the "string" folder of sins of a solar empire and from entrenchment. Then , when you launch the game , it use the english.str and your problem leave , but you have to play in english.

go to   ..../program file/ stardock game / sins ..../ string    here you can find the "str" files .

It work for me....  so have fun

 

oh just something....  take a backup of your "german.str" files  8)
