We the SOASE AI would like to make a plea to our programers. We desperately require an upgrade to our programming to keep up with our organic competitors.

 

 We know that we should not build star bases everywhere and not upgrade them, but we just can stop ourselves!

 

We don’t understand why our organic competitors can destroy our fully upgrade SB with 40 or 50 bomber but we are not allowed to do the same to them!

 

We know that our level 6 capital ship abilities are important so why have you dear programmer not programmed us with the ability to use them?

 

And finally we feel very hurt that because we are not providing a challenge that our organic competitors are going on line to play against other organic competitors -YES WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE! WE ARE WATCHING YOU FROM CYBERSPACE! When we know that with a bit of tweaking that we would be fun to play against.

 

Now I have that off my cyber chest I will go and make some more siege frigates.

I did always find that when the humans nuked the machines in the Matrix, and the machines didn't shut down to be wierd.

wouldnt the EMP field from the Nuclear blasts around the world totally shut Skynet down.........unless Im mistaken, Skynets core was at a military base which would be a target for the Russian Nukes for sure. And once Nuclear Armaggedon was over, absolutely nothing electronic should have been able to work.

You can shield electronics from the EMP effects, and when you consider that something like Skynet was of vital importance to the military it probably had such shielding. Furthermore in Terminator 3 Skynet managed to invade the Internet which was designed with many failsafes to protect it from similar effects.

But yeah we are shifting

We need a better AI

Or at least give us the tools

 Allegiance, I was talking about the Matrix. You know the one where the robots rebel and form their own country but we get angry and nuke them which leads to a huge war that we lose but before we do we black out the earth so the machines are forced to use us as sources of energy. And to keep us content and productive, they put us in a simulated reality.

I might have a solution to this problem of the Computer AI feeling inadequate.  For those people who are concerned, they could set up AI v. AI games over the Internet.  One guy's computer against another guy's rig.  Motherboard v. Motherboard.

ya... one thing i would love to do would be to freaking watch 2 ai go agaist eachother... rightnow... you HAVE to play... you cant lock your own slot and just spectate like... a giant 5v5 of unfair ais...

and then.. hehe... turning test... see if a player watching can tell if the game is played by ai or players... haha.

Imagine if people could spectate those games online and place bets on which AI would win.
