No.

1) Sins represent ships in a "General" sort of way. In other words it would be difficult to represent the different damage types like Eve does. Example in sins you have a Caracal with only tech 1 Kinetic missiles. You cant change that on the fly to Tech II explosive, or mix them up. Same with armor and shields.

2) CCP would bombard you with cease, and desist letters. CCP defends their Intelectual Property fiercely.

The only ones authorized to use the Eve IP AFAIK are the guys making the HW2 Eve mod (another HW2 mod that will never get finished). CCP monitors their every move. "IF" anyone wants to make an Eve mod for Sins they would have to go through CCP first, and get permission. Then CCP would make sure the mod "doesnt suck" in thier own words. In reality they just dont want their IP miss-represented. Which is probably why the HW2 mod never got finished.

Actualy as i discoverd the makers of eve online took so many element of games like nexus the jupiter incident ,

haegemonia legend of the iron, homeworld and 2 and so much more space games that came before 2004. Which is good cuz it gave them inspiration and i get to play with some of the very similar ships from these older games. I guess the ships model designer played those games too that is prob why they look so identical and similar.

Ah but I play eve online, and they've already done a very splendid job of fucking the entire game up for anyone who does not pvp. Not to mention that every place you goes to has some rumor or another about a fucked up aspect of the game. I don't want the damage variation, i just want the ships.
