An idea to make Pantheon more fun

So, as an individual player, I really feel like I have no impact on the total score for light or dark.  If one is ahead at the beginning, it pretty much means that that side will win all the way through the week.  It is also pretty obvious that once a side has a lead, say by 100k or so...  that lead remains constant and you know who is going to win.

My idea is to add modifiers to win streaks.  Each successive win ads a 1x multiple to the amount of points being awarded toward Pantheon victory.  This means that if you have a strong challenger, on the loosing side, they can actually effect the score.  Of course, the winning side would also have it's champions.  The point being, I think that individual achievements should start having more of an effect on the outcome.  Right now it's just tedious and predictable.  Lets shake it up.

Any other ideas?

Not sure if this would really make Pantheon that much more fun, but I like the direction you're going with this.  Find some way to make doing well in Pantheon rewarding, like giving a virtual medal to players in a gicen war with the most wins / kills / damage / etc., like they do in some FPS games.

It would essentially reward poor matchmaking and comp stomps, in all honesty.

Match Making issues aside, which can be fixed I would think, having win streak multipliers makes the point accrual more variable.  As far as i can tell, right now it's not variable at all.  One side starts with an advantage, and they keep it.  There is no percieved struggle, which is boring.

That's all I'm saying.

Match making issues are the central problem with Pantheon though. Ignoring them is ignoring the part that needs fixing most.
