Stardock - If you make a further expansion - will you add customizable ships? :)

First, I love this game (as you probably know). Second, if later on you make an extra expansion (that we'd be more than happy to pay for), will you add customizable ships? Kind of like what Space Empires IV has?
Gal Civ is perfect in so many ways, better than any other game out there, and I think that's the only thing I'd really, really like to have.

Thanks so much for all the excellent hours of gaming fun! And it has been fun!

Ewww, jumped all over my enthusiasm! ;) Hehe. Well, I'm about to try The Corporate Machine and Stellar Frontier thanks to Drengin.net.

And "I" think SE4 type customizable ships would fit just nicely in Gal Civ ;)

GalCiv 1.x won't have ship design. That would be a massive level of effort. The expansion pack is, after all, free. But even if it was a $20 expansion pack (which this expansion pack is certainly worth), ship design would still be a huge undertaking.

It would be akin to having C&C change it's build machanic from being one where you just build buildings off a menu to having peons and such.

If/when there's a sequel to GalCiv, then we can revisit that.
