mobile starbase

the only way to do so is script the Starbase as either a frigate or capital ship. There is a mod somewhere around the Modding Forums that does so.

The reason SBs cannot Phase Jump is because they are an advanced structure type (basically the cap ships of buildings).

the starfire mod sucks

there should be a line in each starbase file that has something like "linear acceleration" thats lets it move like with the vasari starbase

agentx250 the line reads
maxSpeedLinear
and for the vasari it is 325, but for both advent and tec it is -1 also the line
maxAccelerationLinear
above it for both advent and tec are 0.000 but vasari it is 40.

both lines are in the last 10 lines of the starbase entity files

Look for another mod if you want something else.

i want it to be able to mak a phase jump

My suggestion is to make a new capital ship with the same stats as the starbase but use the mesh of a starbase and viola a starbase that not only gets level but also will be able to do phase jump
