I am having problems with forge. I have made several new maps using the correct guidelines, but i cant seem to get other people to use them online. or should i say they cant use them. they cannot join my game, and yes i can host. anyone with any ideas about why this hasnt been working please, answer me asap. thanks.
1st. Did you use the in-game random map designer, or Galaxy Forge for v1.15?
2nd. The likely reason the cannot join your game is that they do not have the proper map files. Unless you have uploaded/distributed your map, or some such thing like that.
Overall, the problem you describe mostly has to do with the fact that, since you have manufactured your maps correctly, and you can host a game with said maps, it simply is that the likely do not have the map.
so how would i go about in distributing my map? would i upload it to the players diretly? or through this website? or possibly even a third aprty website?
You could use a free third party site like SendSpace or if it is small enough you might be able to e-mail it. If you see the person you want to give it to in real life you could use a flash drive.
