how regulus mine visibility works

Please enlighten me and correct me if im wrong:

If an enemy regulus within view range of allies or towers throws a mine, it will be visible always
(i see these little mine graphics all the time from enemy team, even though i dont have goggles nor totems around. Oddly enough 90% of the time my teammates plow straight through them, i guess theyre not paying that much attention, or are zoomed out max)

if an enemy regulus covered by fog of war throws a mine, it will not be visible (this one i would like veryfied as i dont know if thats true)

totems always reveal mines

Light tower, Archer tower, and Rook tower can reveal mines near them. They all have revealing radius of 10, while their vision radius is 16.

From my experience, mines thrown by visible enemy reg is not automatically revealed.

I play rook almost all the time, and can see them, but I don't understand why nothing kills them.  Are they supposed to be invulnerable, or what?
