I just noticed it when I came to the site, I wonder what limitations are on the demo.
Yea there another thread about it already.
Edit:The other thread (sry no idea how to link) states all the limatations to the demo.
Edit2:http://forums.demigodthegame.com/360402
No clue how they got this down to 594MB.
The demo contains significantly fewer assets.
Do demo users need to install impulse and do they need to create an impulse account to play online?
What's actually in the demo? All skills, items & citadel upgrades?
Yes. Just 4 demigods and cataract though.
and u can only play with other people with the demo... not those with the actual game
Is the demo strictly onllne mulitplayer, or can you play it against AI bots only?
You can play with bots.
Edit:but yea its online only
Okay, thanks. I'll give it a try this evening.
Has anyone else noticed that once the demo went up, the proxy system started to totally suck again?
I.E. - People I have been playing with for a month now have 800 pings to me when they proxy. This began around the same time the demo was released. I'm not sure if the two are related, but its definitely an issue.
Nope, just got finished playing a few games, and haven't noticed any differences.
They need to post the announcement of the Demo in here or at least to provide links from a sticky in the forums.
Not sure why no post has been made in here - this is where people will look when they first browse for a game that a friend has told them is called DemiGod
Tals
Also can I suggest that the demo is also made available on impulse for non DemiGod players - I can see it but I don't think non DG players can?
They can see it too.
Yes, they are seeing it.
I woulden't worry about information becoming available. It is bound to be promoted.
Demo is done, now those devs focused on getting demo out might be working on 1.2 and whatever else. I'm just assuming they have a small team still focused on Demigod over at GPG while the work on SupCom2.
