Adding Names to Kodiak Cruisers?

Is is possible to give Cruisers names like Capital Ships?

No. As far as I understand, the only "units" that can be named is Capital Ships, Planets, and Star Bases.

you could create a capital ship based on the stats of the kodiak crusiers

:) You can also edit the name on the infocard to include the Name you want, such as

"Ticonderoga Cruiser" or whatever.  :)         The name is in the string file.
