Knowing

Gotta say, I'm kind of disappionted with whoever made this story. Nicholas Cage usually makes good movies (Con Air, Nat Treasure 1), but this made no sense. So, some kind of alien race/ god knew of a super solar flare that was going to kill us all, and decided that it wasn't worth saving our planet, so he took children, put them on ships, and took them to another world, while every being on our creature on our world died. Was there a point to this? I thought the movie was okay until nearing the end, when John started to figure out was going on.

If you saw it, what'd you think?

I haven't seen a Nicholas Cage movie I liked in a while.  Some of his older stuff is great, but stuff like Ghost Rider?  Really?

Haven't seein this movie, and never plan to.

Nicholas Cage isn't doing himself any favours with movies like this. Bangkok Dangerous? The Wicker Man? He can, and has, done a lot better. And considering the Director of this is also responsible for 'Dark City' and the original 'The Crow', it's fair to say this movie was just plain bad. Avoid.

Well from the start I thought it was aliens, but I didnt think it would actually go there. All in all it was a decent concept with a horrible ending covered with cheese. It could have been alot better.

I liked the movie overall. The ending was cheesy, but the meat of the movie was interesting. ;)

This movie offers a good start...but lets you down in the end (my op).

They hit on some deep topics, but dont answer basic questions.

But its just a movie...

If you're going to insult a decent film please spell your insults correctly.

I think the best part is the Airplane...

This movie sucked. I only watched it because a friend had it laying around. It could have been a good movie if it had any sort of meaningful storyline, but the whole premise really didn't make sense. Very, very sad movie, but it allows all the Hollywood players including Nicolas to punch a time clock and collect a pay check. Speaking of which, I didn't like Next that much either....but it was still a lot better than Knowing.
