To messiah1: Thanks, not sure if there were other sites besides this one.

To Bichur: I am dragging from either Desktop or Downloads. And I am decompressing with winrar.

What happens if you try to extract directly to the backgrounds or docklets folders, instead of dragging them there?

Have you tried a good old fashioned Ctrl+C (copy) Ctrl+V (paste)?

Skins are not a problem anymore because I was putting them into the Program Files>Stardock>objectdock folders instead of documents>objectdock. Also, copy and paste or extracting won't work. Says Acces denied. And yes, I am the admin.

Give Unlocker a look,it may do what you need. LINK

from the review: "The application removes file-access restrictions that prevent a user from moving, deleting, or renaming a file."

......"it unlocks or disables whatever is preventing the user to access that file"

It's freeware,so it costs nothing to try it.

The preferred path to put them in is C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds.  I say this because some of us ObjectDock skinners hardcode the plus/minus images to reference that particular path.  Otherwise, you won't get the use of the plus/minus images.  ;)

That business with putting them in the ObjectDock Library folders located under My Documents came along with the .dockzip snazzle a while ago...yer hardliners still use the above referenced path though.
