DG is spazzing out

from Stardock Forums

I was just in a game lobby and the game crashed, getting a window saying unhandled exception. After that, I started the game back up and tried to join another game, at which point it froze and I had to quit. The third time, when I tried to login I got "invalid username and password," even though it's saved and i've always used it just fine.

Im not much of a technical person... Any help?

This is a common problem - your login has not been timed out from the server yet, you'll need to wait until that happens before being able to log back in. I've had this exact problem before, and it took around an hour or so for it to finally be corrected. Nothing else is able to be done from our end, as far as I know.

I've had a similar situation. Yes, my game would freeze prior to battle, but in my case it was almost like a file within the game got misplaced or deleted. One of the sayings on the loading battle screen was replaced with "No Text". After attempting several ideas. Like trying singleplayer, checking program files, and etc. I just decided to Re-Install. Luckily it worked. I just don't understand what had happened to cause the "No Text" loading screen.

the not text thing happened to me once too, i quit out afterwards and it worked fine.

 

Anyway, thanks for the answer. It took about 5 minutes to fix lol...

When I get the unhandled exception, I always reboot because if I don't the game will freeze.

Aye a friend of mine ALWAYS has to reboot his whole system. He can't CTRL+ALT+Delete or anything. Sucks...

The login usually takes me like 2 minutes, I've never had to wait an hour! That sucks.

elixir   u seem to be one of those guys who  just like to piss people off and   most unhandle exceptions are when   either a item as in a pot or a   use item like hol   bugs out this causes the unhandled exception and if u anit a asshole like u elxir

 it is bad news  but for u it is great

Also, I have never heard of someone crashing from using a potion. I have heard of people crashing from ALT-Tabbing or connecting and stuff like that. Chill dude.

 

BTW I'm a DBZ fan. Bardock was one of my favorite characters and I used his name a lot for online stuff.

 that is because most people who  get unhandled exceptions   there games crash  well most off mine dont these days

The easiest way to fix the "No Text" crash is to delete your Game.Prefs file from (My)Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.
