Torch Bearer Fire Auto Attack --

Torch Bearer Fire Auto Attack --

Torch Bearer Fire Auto Attack --

I'll be posting this in various sections of the fourm I want to make sure I get 100% Correct answere.

Question is simple!!

Is Torch Bearer Auto Attack intended to not be able to shoot and run in "Fire Mode"??? Any links to and offical response to this. I find it beyond annoying...

Besides that Why can't we shift "on the fly" ???

Anyone, Anyone at all know if this plans to be fixed or is it just "Oh deal with it from GPG?"

My point is this:

Back before the Internet (as it is used today), we picked up games based on what we heard our friends say about them or based on what they said on the back of the box. We took it home and played it as is. We were blissfully unaware of any 'bugs' and just played the game because we wanted to have some fun. There were no epeens to stroke, no stats to worry about.

If we DID recognize a bug we found a way to play around it (if we really enjoyed the game).

By the way, I'm talking about stuff that would be similar to this TorchBearer Fire auto attack 'bug'. This type of thing is not game breaking and could even be intentional programming; not a bug at all.

For example, in the original Bard's Tale (Commodore 64), we didn't go to school the next day and tell our friends 'Hey geez, I wish they had made that wizard in the Cellar not so overpowered. He's too tough.' Instead, we said stuff like 'Hey, that wizard in the Cellar is a tough bastard but I'll get him down somehow.'

I realize today that games are vastly more complex and there are many things to consider and account for, including the Internet itself. And it is much better to be able to update games and such. It's just when people have these petty greivances about TB's auto-attack, or Valor Flags, or some demigod being OP, or whatever, they should just get over it. Quit wasting so much time complaining about it and play the game. Enjoy it! If the devs happen to fix your pet 'bug' then rejoice, until then, find a way around it or play something else.

Stop trying to ruin my thread. Does your day bore you that much? I want to know if its bug. It may not even be one...I want someone who actually knows what it is. Not you coming to the forums crying about cry baby's. If this is what you do in your spare time then thats why you just "deal" with flawed products. Anyway, PC games is not a growing industry because of people like you. No one wants to just "deal" with things anymore...

This is 2009 mark your calender....

It would be nice if Fire torchbearer would FoTM......... I would get so many more kills....

This game has endless issues, I wish publishers/developers would polish their games more

Yeah, still no answer, not good.

No idea if there are plans to fix this.  To me, seems logical that tb should be able to run and shoot (didn't read the whole thread, but at least this is a bump).

START TALKING ABOUT SUGAR MINES (seriously) and frogboy will respond regarding this.  He will.  I don't know why, but he will.

I doubt it.

I'll trade a sugar doll for an answer :D

WTF Sugar Mines???

Maybe it can't be fixed? Its not in the budget lolololol....

Kinda gamebreaking for half of the TB to be honest....

bump it ....

Doesn't anyone want to know what the problem is?

I MEAN OFFICALLY

THEY COULD AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE IT

We know what the problem is.  What we don't know is whether they plan a fix or not.

I don't think they have acknowledged any of the well known bugs.

Maybe the community eventually need to start giving out unofficial community patches that fixes the most apperent typos that shouldn't be that hard to fix. This is has been done for Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. The problem with Demigod is that that a unofficial patch probebly wouldn't work for online play.

Bump, please respond to this issue.

eh if anyone could make a working unoffical patch I would download it.

Not my fault they can't fix things....

I'd venture a guess that if they weren't aware of this by the first couple posts they certainly are by now.  And if it was intended they would probably say so, so that everyone doesn't keep thinking it's a bug.  And that if they haven't replied re: this issue by now they prolly won't except as a mention in the patch notes.

Bump, give us some answers.

You're probably not getting any, as I said.  Wait for the patch....

You are probably right about that. But, its a thing of principle now.

Its not an unreasonable request, bug or feature? If a bug, eta on a fix. Something that SD usualy is awsome with. I dont know why they are avoiding some of these issues.

To be honest, I am starting to feel a bit dissapointed.

They avoided the whole nice thread I wrote on autoattack bugs, this is no different.

Wander if they even have bug managmenent procedures.

See Kestrel's thread from yesterday. They do.

I wonder If I spam a link of this thread in all the other threads in every post if that will get someones attention...

Don't, just bump this one.

Bumping to eternity until a suitable response is heard. Not being unreasonable. Takes 30 seconds or less to write a post on this.
