Need help with galaxy forge
Ok up until now, my maps have been showing in the custom maps. Now when I make a new map and save it to the correst folder it doesn't even show in the list. How can I solve this problem.

The old custom maps section is for the map designer maps and they should in sins 1.16+ and entrenchment 1.02+ be in the map designer folder next to you mods folders, and if you place a galaxy forge map there is WILL CAUSE A instant defeat because sins only looks for map designer maps there. galaxy forge maps should now be placed in the galaxyforge folder next to the mods folders or for older sins the program files galaxy folder, but for entrenchment they should be in the galaxy forge folder!!!!!!!!!!

Ok i looked in the entrenchment folder and there is one forge folder in the local settings, but there is no folder in the actual program files folder under entrenchment. Do i make one.
the galaxy forrge programs can be in ANY folder. on my win764bit i have my galaxyforge in a folder on the desktop, but the maps SHOULD go in the local settings galaxyforge folder

What is the advantage of this [method] over %programfiles%/stardock games/sins/galaxy and modifying the galaxy.manifest in the entrenchment directory? Does the Galaxy Forge folder automagically distribute maps? In practice I've found the Local Settings/Application data folder to be a lot less reliable ![]()

gonzo it saves the NEED to edit the galaxy manifest, and in my experience with over 50 maps it is as reliable as the program files galaxy and then EDIT the galaxy.manifest (btw I did write a galaxy manifest manager to prevent errors in editing the galaxy.manifest as I do not want to do the same thing every time i make a new map or test a map for another person)
