Vista 64

...issues. How do I resolve these?

I'm running Vista Home Premium 64bit and have the following issues with ObjectDock:

- I cannot drag anything to the recycle bin icon when the dock is locked.
- Right click->Manage on My Computer brings up an "Application not found" error
- ObjectDock has problems launching 64bit programs. To try, go to START->RUN and enter CMD. At the command line, type TELNET.  Your TELNET client will start.  Now, put a shortcut to CMD.EXE on your dock and start it. This time TELNET is an unknown command... One CMD is 32bit and one is 64bit. You do need to have TELNET installed to try this.

Any idea on when these are expected to be fixed?

Dragging to the Recycle Bin has NEVER worked (in my experience) when the Dock is locked (a fundamental flaw in the gadget's usefulness as far as I am concerned).

I can confirm the My Computer/Manage bug on Vista 64.  Nice find!

I don't use/have Telnet, so I can't confirm that issue.

Good luck!

Actually, I'm fairly certain that the recycle bin *DID* work properly on the version that I got back around September/October.  Then some big flaw was found and they pull that version offline and I lost that version with some computer issues.

I can't understand how they can leave their customers in the dark for sooooo long.  :(

I believe that version is still availible through SDC.

Nope... Definately not.

I'm hoping that they update OD soon... I do miss the stability that I had before.

Um the recycle works fine for me and havent had telnet (outside my router)  for decades anyway.

My sole issuews are startmenu and systray

bypasing startmenu by not even having it on object bar... and use the windows key when needed instead.

on systray, it puts the open apps in systray, but none of the classic systray icons (unlike the 32bit systray that puts most of them in a box in a docklet.

As it is so far, nearly all alternative systrays for objectdock have been incomplete... ive seen none yet where I can litterally hide permanmently the windows task bar.

Current per above I have to have both taskbar and objectdock... which in 64bit is close to being a waste of time....

On 32bit  ... no problem though the systray still doesnt do 100% of the systray icons... for some its easy, create shortcut and do it a different way.

Above is all about vista & 64 bit ...maybe win7 &/or OBJECTDOCk 2.0 will make it worthit.

ObjectDock (even v2) is a 32 bit app, and will only be able to launch 32 bit versions of system applications.
