Does it Work Yet?

Hello,

I purchased demigod when it first came out, and then returned it after the sheer inability to play the game. I was wondering if the connectivity issues have been resolved yet.

Can I open a game and join a skirmish/pantheon game and expect to play with human players within 30 seconds, or does it still take like 5-10 minutes to get anywhere?

I have always considered repurchasing the game if it was ever fixed.

Pantheon? No, forget about it.

Skirmish is much better, although it has a few hitches. The average for me is about 2-3 or so minutes to connect to a game if everything goes alright, although sometimes it takes less than 1 minute, and sometimes I just go back to the main menu and try again because it takes too long.

Custom, however, is practically flawless(apart from a small problem earlier this weekend which has since been fixed), and is the mode I suggest you play if you decide to buy the game again.

I get in pantheon games in udner 5min pretty much always. Same goes for skirmish

I am not sure about custom games working "flawlessly" People WILL connect... eventually. However in most cases it takes a long time to get a game going if it is 5v5 or 4v4.

Ugh, okay. My favorite mode is Pantheon/Skirmish. Custom games, as custom games are won't to do, are far too subject to their hosts proclivities. Team stacking, etc. I prefer to play vanilla games according to default settings with randomized teammates.

Maybe I will check back next month.

Pantheon games are worth checking, it now shows who is in the queue waiting to join so you at least know the likelihood of a game straight away. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes - if I do I move to custom games.

I find that I can get in under 5 mins but I never have balanced teams.

Do u get a full 2v2 every time or is it just me?

i am one of the few where nothing at all work, can not connect to anything... so it all depends on ur luck i guess |-)
