displaying ship range

hi all,

my apologies if this post is in the wrong place...i'm new to the forums and the game and haven't found a better place for it.

one annoying thing i'm struggling with is being unable to see how far a ship can go in one turn before it goes on autopilot.  i find this a hindrance when trying to intercept another ship or otherwise planning my movement points carefully.

is there any way to turn on a "movement radius" for ships?

PS:  loving the game.  a bit easy, as i'm cleaning up as the Korx on standard difficulty my first time though, but i'm guessing on higher difficulty levels the game gets a bit more strategic.

I'm new to the game as well, but at very least the Twilight expansion seems to have a range rad(can be seen on the mini map, as a different shade of grey), however I don't recall noticing one in regular Dread Lords(although I could've over looked it).

Short answer, no. Basically all you can do is move one point at a time and se where you end. Once you are out of points for the turn, you can highlight the ship and play with the autopilot to see where you can possibly get to *next* turn, but that's about it.

That is the maximum life support range, not the range the ship can move this turn.
