Mapinstall.exe included - File to modify galaxy.manifest appropriately when new galaxy files are installed. Try it out :3
Mapinstall.exe updated to detect duplicate galaxy entries.
Mapinstall.exe updated to include better duplicate checking
Mapinstall.exe updated to be able to remove entries as well with "-r"

Im not sure how many of you have played any of these maps, as they haven't been current for some time now- However, I've played many LAN/SP games on these maps and found them to be quite enjoyable. The balance on most of them is questionable, but by and large, the victor will be determined by player skill.

[u]Lucky Clover [FFA, 2v2, 3v1]
[u]Pleiades [Huge map, probably better for SP]
[n]Threeway [FFA]
[n]Ruthless [2v2, FFA - personal favorite]
[n]The Hunters [2v2]
[n]Ashes to Ashes [FFA, 4v4, 2v2v2v2]

Entrenchment users can now run a batch file to install everything correctly... I've tested it out on my machine and it works great, but some feedback from others would be much appreciated. Also, if for some reason there is policy against posting maps in the forum, nuke this post.:borg:

Nah, posting custom maps is fine. The only problem is the distribution of those maps. Even the most common of them, i.e. Dirty Sanchez' Mappack 1+2, are rarely played because except for the 2 big clans few people downloaded and installed them properly. An automatic download option would be really appreciated...

It might be a good idea to make sure they are fully updated for the current versions of Sins and to then offer links to where people can download them.  Also, could you please tell us what game types they are for?  Ie, FFA, 3v3, etc.?

I've been crying about an automatic map downloader on ICO since day one. Would give a lot of life to the community... having to post on your own website / wincustomize is a total pain-- and most casual players aren't going to go out of their way to do it. The devs have bigger fish to fry, but automatic map installs are definitely something I'd like to see added at some point.

You and me, both.  Now that the custom maps are stored in one single Galaxy Forge folder, I wonder if it might be easier them to fix things so that they will auto-download.

Galaxy Forge folder doesn't seem to work right for me :(
