NOT a post bitching about it.  I actually really like this superweapon.  Had a thought though...maybe a way to beef it up a little/make it more useful would be to tweak the culture change rate applied to the planet it is fired on.  I think this can be done (for example, when you move your homeworld the culture change rate is 0.10 instead of 0.07).  It isnt a huge change but I think it would definitely make the superweapon more effective.

What are you doing with it? If you are using it to buff your fleet you'll see that it's already the strongest super weapon on a realistic budget.

I dunno about "realistic" budget, but yes.  Best superweapon in my opinion too.

yeah allegiance change cap is pretty ridiculous, i've gotten planets up to a +300 rate for MY culture and their allegiance is still only dropping at .07/second. lame.

Well if money isnt an object 20 kostura cannons will pretty much wipe out a grav well and is the best, but I kind of think you're lucky to be able to afford  1 super weapon

I think its the best too, I just think that as far as doing anything other than giving you the culture buffs and (unless you have more than four or five) maybe annoying your opponent a little, it doesnt do much as far as changing the allegiance.  Seems to me that it should.  After all, the Novalith (2 of them anyway) can completely wipe out a planet.

Yeah but if you really think about it, the total cost of any superweapon is pretty crazy.  We're talking a tier 8 research, probably a couple tac slot upgrades, ect. added on top of the cost of the actual structure.  But yeah I guess it's realistic if it's the one thing that'll tip the stalemate in a long game.
