Where is 1.04 for download?

Hail,

This may be a dumb question, but i cant find it!

Im assuming that you have to have Dregnin net?

I look forward to being able to click on the "Destroy Colony" button again without "Destroy Game" being the result.

Kudos to the Dev team for making and more importantly maintaining this 4x champion.

Looking for Patches in all the wrong places,

You dont need to have dregnin net, but you do need
to have stardock, which is a free download under
the downloads area on www.galciv.com(ie here)

From stardock, you can 'update' galciv, which will
automatically download the 'patch', and update the
program. There is no actual patch.

Yes there will be a stand alone for 1.04. The standalone patches need to go through Stategy First QA before they are released so they take awhile before they become available. Also Stardock waits will for a couple of points releases before making the stand alone patch. Infering from another thread that Brad replied to it sounds like the stand alone patch is being created to be sent to Strategy First. Not sure how long it will take to go through the QA. My guess is that it will probably be sometime towards the end of June.
(I do not represent Stardock and this is just guessing based on previous stand-alone patch releases).

They have the standalone bit for QA as of today. Hopefully they won't find anything major and by this time next week we'll have it available.

I'd like to make my own determination.
Since the developers feel that the 1.04 patch is better ill give it a whirl AND it removes the button of death (destroy colony).

Being an avid gamer i tend to always patch up to the latest production patch. I wish SFC3 had gotten so much attention from the designers.
