Why nerf erebus and keep Game breaking exploits ?

I just played against a team of sedna/qot using the totem exploit, the trick if you dont know it by then is to buy totem minions cast, keep the minions  sell totem, buy upgrade recast, sell, while keeping previous rank minions wich gives you an huge lagging army you can keep healed,  quite early in the game  and pretty much invincibility if the other team dont have some Torche bearer to mass destroy them.

That kind of exploit is completely gamebreaking , yet its erebus bite wich is nerfed, wich was not so powerful against skilled players .

Right now if you use this tactic  you have an I WIN button for sedna/qot, it completely destroy fun on a multiplayer game.

Must be because the dev's hate LE or were tired of being baggered by all the glass cannon players who cant tank 1800 damage.

I agree, this is an exploit and should be fixed. However, it's not as effective as you make it out to be.

First of all, the healer minions are the most expensive. You can only buy the first teir at the start, and if the other team gets the advantage, then by the time you get a pair of each teir, it won't help you. They'll have much more money than your team does, and if they still lose, that's their mistake.

Second, this still works on the other two generals as well, not just Sedna and QoT. I'd say an Oak with this is actually much scarier.

Third, it's not 'completely gamebreaking.' It's rarely used, and hard to pull off. A good team could probably destroy it too.

imo it's a feature.Costs tons of monny to make that army and keeping the mindless minions alive isnt an easy task.

Not my problem if you decide to run into middle of that swarm.

That's not an exploit and it's not overpowered either  Different idols cast different minions.  In other words, they are performing entirely different functions, and each is performing the function described.  Therefore, they are not supposed to be lumped together as the same thing, nor is this in any way an exploit.  It's really not that hard to kill them either.

Fix, he means buying the Priest idol, using it to get two Priests, then selling it and buying the High Priest idol, so now the players has two Priests and two High Priests following them around. Get the other two, player has eight healer minions. Got it?

It's not a feature and according to this thread, it's not something you should get comfortable relying on.

That said, it costs way more than it's worth to do (in cash, time, and micromanagement) and as was said, it takes a while to get enough money to do it once, much less on a regular basis.

As far as the thread title goes, there are probably different teams working on balance issues and bug fixes.  One has nothing to do with the other.

Heh....oak with this is just evil. Surge of Faith and divine justice provides longevity and buckets o' damage. Ruins your day really quickly. And I say this as an Oak player.

Probably because the nerf is a script change and it take a whole 3 seconds to change...

Devs have already said they're fixing this, give it time.

I like how minions are atm.

If someone wants to waste time and money doing this with minons, thats fine by me. I just need to kill their minions once and they dont come back. Noobs wont though.

I'm sure the devs will get to nerfing idol stacking. One thing at a time.

Agreed. I mean, Sedna is pretty much the only class who has true trouble killing a swarm of minions like that. In 1v1 it can be pretty mean, though. Especially against Sedna.

Assuming you haven't been feeding the idol team, there is no excuse for at least one of your teammates to not be able to afford Parasite Egg by the time they can pull off the idol exploit. With Parasite Egg, you should be able to kill off their minions... maybe not all in one shot, but quickly enough. By the end of it all, I believe the Parasite Egg costs less than the complete exploit, so the idol whore is down a large amount in gold.

Because not enough people have bitched about it. Yet.  Which, by the way, good job
