Consumable favor Items

A use for all those extra Favor Points

Search seems borked right now, so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I think we should have the ability to buy and use consumable favor items so we have a use for all those extra favor points we will be earning once we've purchased all the items we want to use.

I wouldn't mind a second favor slot for these items, as long as they too are limited to one per game. Because of the nature of these items I think it would be cool if they were all extremely over powered, although single use.

Well why not create "after dead" items. Like exploding, last stand, drop a bad "item" chance, drop a tower, create a minion and so on ;)

That's just like martyrdom in call of duty. It rewards people by sucking and it's annoying as hell.

 

Just seems like things like that are bad for competitive play.

Nothing they are suggesting sounds like a reward for dying. and not all people who die suck, especially in competitive play.

 

I thought even something like trading favor in for gold(at a raito of something like 5favor 1gold), which providing favor is fixed and there are no 2 billion favor points appearing wouldn't be too unblanced IMO.  Not enough to unbalance(a near max win allowing about 40 extra gold another game equivalent) yet still giving favor points some meaning after getting the handful of favor items that you want.

You do know that in each Epoch they plan on resetting all favor items and favor points.  So while in a single epoch you might gain all the items, eventually you'll lose them and have to re-purchase them.

If they reset all favor points then there will still be people who have thousands just sitting there doing nothing until the next epoch.

We need a way to spend these points once we already have the items we want, they should be good for something.

They definitely need to add a point to having Favor points once you've unlocked everything, in addition to your side winning in Pantheon.

Consumable favor items are indeed a great way to do this.  Additonally, they should add new player skins and new Favor items as well (super expensive ones that are super powerful).

I have the impression that resetting Favor points just means that they put the Pantheon Light/Dark side counter back to 0. 

If they do like you said and you also reset players individual points and Favor items, that would be outright ludicrous.
