Erebus Poison blood bug?

So I used to play Erebus a lot in the begning, I thought it was fun bat swarming all over the place, stun, bite, own.. but then it got old and I like trying out different builds / DG's and Erebus seemed to always level the same way for me. Anyway, when I would play Erebus pre-beta 1.0 patch his Poison Blood ability potion would hurt anyone EXCEPT you ( Erebus ) if you drank it. That's right, it would still heal you but hurt anyone else. During the beta 1.0 patch I noticed that the Poison Blood potion would HURT you and anyone else who drank it. I just played Erebus 2 days ago on the latest patch and I find that still Erebus's Poison Blood potions hurt Erebus.

 

Now I may be way off but here is the description of the ability: Lord Erebus's vampiric blood gains the ability to heal him and poison others.

 

So.. I read that as saying the potion should still heal Erebus and not hurt him. But that's not what's happening last time I checked. Anyone else notice this? ( maybe you never die and don't know ). Bug? Yes / No?

The ability gives a +15/tick regen bonus. That's the healing they are talking about.

Still though, he shouldn't be hurt in theory by drinking his own potion.

Hehe. They should give erebus a pink cape and put a big daisy growing out of his face.

On the up side... if you can kill yourself drinking the potion, you'll get some gold.

Because there isn't venom in their blood.  One would think after getting the skill "Poison Blood".....

I tend to agree that poison blood shouldn't affect your allies.  I always feel kinda silly having to warn my allies after I pick poison blood.  If I don't say it, they could grab my potion by accident, if I do say it they think I'm someone who dies a lot -_-

I like how you get gold for killing your own teammates with it... Wish the AI would let me know when it put a skill point into that as well.
