Demigod Hero Statistics

Cooking the Books?

For a game to be completely balanced for casual players, a developer will aim for a 50% win/loss and I was impressed (at first) with how close to 50% all of the heroes were. I got the idea last night that maybe they are a little too good and that they are falsified because the games I play show nothing similar to these statistics and I also have a great deal of my games not recording. It seems that a lot of the games not being recorded could be reason for the 50% w/l ratio.

I've played about 50 games with QoT and my games seem record when I play her and I just played a lengthy series last night with sedna, regulus, and TB and only 2 of the 15 or so games recorded. Maybe I'm going crazy conspiracy theory on this one, but something isn't right with their numbers and game stats being recorded and perhaps they are linked... or maybe not... who knows!

Dont think they are fixed, i guess theres a bug there, also a 50% chance for almost every demigod is just too sneaky for stardock.

If they wanted the community to think that the game is balance they would do something like paying random guys to go to the forums and praise them on thier great support, balance, communication, and give karma to frogboy.

There are issues with stats recording correctly, but there's no big conspiracy about it. Just bugs and/or server issues.

So your telling me there's a conspiracy...

The balance really isn't all out of whack like the forum titles would suggest, I think the page is showing a reasonably accurate number.

One thing that i find very amussing about the stats is how sedna even having less play time has such a doog win ratio.

Warning Kryo Can NOT read this(I think we are safe with that warning,We cant talk anymore, kryo is watching us, just rememeber dont talk about the conspiracy, they still think we dont know about it.)

50% for every hero +/- 3% for a game that's had literally 0 constructive patching is an insanely unlikely occurance. I think the hero balance is fine. I've lost 0 games and I've played at least 40 with every hero. There's a severe lack of quality players and it makes it VERY hard to balance a game, but until that happens I see every hero viable if given the right map/partners.

The stats dont really make much sense.  Right now, every DG has won more than 50% of their matches except for QoT, which is the least played DG and is at 45%.  I just dont think that you can make the numbers add up so that all the most popular DGs win 53% of the time, all the moderately popular DG win 51%+ of the time, and only the QoT, the least played DG, is at 45%.

The numbers just arent going to work out even though I havent run them.

Just a guess.. but I would bet that AI player win/losses are not part of this number, but Human players in an AI game count.

Otherwise these numbers don't make any sense at all..
