Freshman Fool/Amazing

Now that everything has changed
I'll never be the same
To hear you say my name
It was amazing

I'd searched my whole world through
I never thought it was true
But now I believe in you
And you're amazing

I'd hoped and prayed and cried my tears
Nothing could relinquish my fears
But now I know that you are real
And you're understanding what I feel
And it's amazing

Will I ever see you again?
You made my broken heart mend
Can I be your girlfriend
I feel amazing

I know that it was just one night
You made my vision more bright
Now my heart's filled with fright
But it's amazing

One little wish God had come to be
That you should come and talk to me
Everything you said was just so sweet
You were the kind I'd die to meet
You are amazing

And yet I feel a broken heart
You tore my peace right apart
Like cupid with his poison dart

I may never see your pretty face
Or get another, second taste
Or you might put me in my place

It's sick and sad I feel so strong
Someone like you must be all wrong
But if it's right who could say
Our lives exist so far away

So before I go tell me the truth
Do you think of me like I think of you?
Or am I just a freshman fool
