Well until the issues are fixed with the multiplayer experience, it is definitely worthwhile to check out GameRangers. GameRangers basically allows you to connect to others through a LAN game, bypassing all the multiplayer issues.

Easy install and set-up just find a room for demigod, launch the game and click multiplayer -> LAN -> Join game. You are good to go.

Please bump this thread if you use gameranger and are able to play, hopefully we can get a lot more games going for the time being.

 

P.S. Make sure you are FULLY UPDATED to .0093 so everyone has no problems connecting to each other. If you are using a pirated version of the game either don't play or make a room clearly stating your version number (preferably the first choice).

Cool idea for those who are having issues still. For me i had issues connecting to games last night, but all day today ive been able to join and host games without any problems. Donno if they put up more servers or what, but im having much better connectivity today.

I keep getting that NAT error when trying to join a game of multiplayer in Demigod. I checked this GameRanger out. I downloaded GameRanger, made an account, found the list with Demigod games, pressed "Join", gets a message saying I have to open port 16000.

So I'm back to the whole "open some ports"-problem once again.
