AI Attack Speed Stacking

I've been playing quite a few games against the AI as part of the tournament, and what always seems to happen is that one AI on the opposing team does something or gets something and suddenly becomes unkillable.  The last game I played, everyone in game was about level 12-13, and rook on the other team is level 17 or something.  I turn my back for a minute and suddenly he's moving twice my speed, and hits me 2-3 times a second for 500-600 damage melee hits.  Since the AI is too stupid to kill the citadel in a citadel match, I tried stacking attack speed similarly. I was wielding an Orb of Veiled Storms, Mage Slayer, Ashkandor, parasite egg, and doomspite grips, and I was still slower than him, doing only 100 damage/hit with 600-700 attack stat.  He gained so much life from meleeing enemies that his HP wouldn't drop below 16000 healh, and he could effortlessly kill me while on my healing crystal without taking any damage. 

I wouldn't really complain but it seems every game I play the AI on hard around level 14-16 they get something that makes them move/attack/hit twice as fast, and I can't figure it out.  Since the game doesn't let you see what the opponent bought during the game (a feature that's sorely needed), how do I find out what I'm missing?

It's probably artifacts, Godfathers ring at that.

A decent game should have been over by long if he could afford that. Try to finish games before the artifact phase and Im sure you will have an easier time, get your 5 items then save 11k so you can upgrade the priests, angels and up to catas in one go, then just push on.

And if his hp was 16000 you were screwed anyway, dont ever let anyone, even an AI get that powerful.

The ai speed is ridiculous some times i was fighting a high level unclean beast and in the space of 3 or 4 seconds he had poisoned me 5 different ways

AI is cheating please stop playing against it.....OH WAIT you can't because in online ranked matches you will always have to play with and against them.....but luckyly the online ai does not cheat they only support the other team by constantly ripping @_@

I was in a long pentheon game that, unfortunately, had everyone drop out one by one as time went on either from personal linkdeath or from being DCd in general. I finished up the match against the AI anyway (since it was mostly over) and the second I picked up the All fathers ring, the enemy AI went nuts. The HP regeneration and speed went through the roof, far above what I had with the ring on. It seems like the harder difficulty AIs just take whatever you have and then multiply it on themselves, resulting in comlpetely out of control demigods with the higher end items.
