WoW at max settings? my 12 years old computer can do that. You're complaining about something that's broken, but you're clearly a person who has no idea what he's talking about.

But anyway since you have 15+ modern games, go play one of them. I mean seriously, you know the whole "internet" thing has become an excuse to release unfinished products, and many products don't get finished, Either don't buy a game until 2 months have passed after release, or just deal with the fact some companies don't care enough about their games to make them succesful once they got most of the money they can get it.

Well people always brag about having super cool computers and being able to run super cool mega ultra powerful games on max hyderdrive setting but when a game like Demigod that doesn't requir a strong PC comes out they can't play it. I don't know about you but I have not experience any laggy or slow menus and my game never froze. Connection is the only thing that punched me in the nuts a few time.

i have cpu d. 2.80ghz 2gb ram and a power and old geforce 6200 turbocathe and the game dont run having mega grafics but run very nice to have the real fun to play a great game (3 days old) wow dude have (4/5 ears) and is a mmo this is a real time strategic/rpg game

My 2 year old computer can run crysis and has no meny freezes. 

So you think the FPS is low, but you don't know what it is?  Try installing the demo of Fraps, it has a FPS display while a game is running.

Also, if you don't like how ir runs, there is always the option to turn your settings down.  After all games are about gameplay first and graphics second.

Just to be sure, you do have the latest drivers right?

The 8800GT is so "several years ago". If I recall, it was a hot cheap thing when I was in 8th or 9th grade... Which is almost 5 years ago. I play fine using a 4 year old laptop that uses an obsolete graphics card (admittedly I play on medium-low, but get smooth fps in return... And it still looks fine.). I have no doubt my younger brother's (turning 14) quadcore/ubercomp can run it on max easily (as I have seen how it runs games I have to run on medium-low at max settings, and it angers me with jealousy).

I love how he has to come on here and write a whole essay about his computer and how he dosn't like the game when no one clearly gives a shit... If you want to go complain about a game, go on the Darkfall Online forums... I'm sure you'll get people to agree with you there and bitch.

You can display your fps by hitting / key on numpad.

8800gt launched october of 07, which is less than 2 yrs ago.

I also run with an 8800GT, 4gb ram, Athlon 6000+ dual core, and am using windows XP 64 bit.

The game runs perfectly fine with all settings at max.

Sounds like something strange is happenng on your PC.

All I can suggest is the usual stuff, make sure you have the latest nvidia drivers (182.50), get the latest directx from microsoft (www.microsoft.com/directx), and install all the windows patches (windowsupdate.microsoft.com).

Maybe try booting without other resident processes (start->run->msconfig) and if that improves it, use trial and error to find out whats conflicting.

While i will flame the hell out of the networking aspect, the game does run fine on my 2.4 + 8800 with everything maxed, I agree with this man

Crysis is a garbage game. WoW is boring.
