Is there a way to join up into groups before playing - especially before playing pantheon?

Just wondering...If there is I can't seem to find it.  Would love to be able to form groups and continue into other games or pantheon with them.

Arranged Team ladder/competitive games are great fun. You can use comms, plan your roles etc. I hope stardock add this over time.

Yes, forming groups before going into the Pantheon would be key.  It would also lessen the number of bot matches that are created in the Pantheon, which are ridiculous and a completely separate subject.  See my other post.

Hopefully Stardock will realize this and add the means of getting in groups for Pantheon fights before people get tired of playing with randos <_<

I agree, I also made a post about this previously. You cant have pickup-only in a teamplay based game, that will kill the community quickly. Not as quickly as not being able to join matches at all though ;)

Team matchmaking is a planned feature that is very high on the list along with clan support.  Then this summer VOIP in game chat will be added.

Maybe they wanted to encourage people to play with randoms, try to break through the leetism that permeates every aspect of DotA. It's refreshing to think that should I finally connect to a game I might not be faced with "NOOB! OMG ITS A NOOB QUICK KICK KICK!!!1"
