Connection Timing Meter?

With connecting taking so long the connection interface should be better

Dear Stardock and Gaspowered,

Great job on the game - like it so far.

I have a few suggestions for the connection interface.  Currently it makes it hard to tell if the game is crashed or just taking a long time to connect.  Here are my quick suggestions:

  1. Show the connection info always - it took me a while to even click on that box and it helped a lot.
  2. Use color coding for the connections info - red = not connected, yellow = still working, green = connected.
  3. Use a meter to show progress (1/5 connected)

I have a feeling a lot people will be like me the first day playing - is this working or just crashed.
