Demigod Preorder -> Croatian money?

Hi!

Well I am from Germany and went to the Demigod Website looking for info about the game.

Now I wonder  (ignoring the translation errors on the Website) why do I, when I click the preorder button, get the price of the game written in croatian denomination? (It took me a few minutes via Google to find out that kn (HKR) is croatian money).

I have no idea what 253 (and change I think) 'kn' are in Euro.

So I am slightly confused.

Also the releasedate on the (partially german) Website tells me 14. April, other sources tell me that that is the US release and that the european release will take a month longer (which I think of as pretty unfair :P ).

Thanks!

Release is 14 april, but may take a little longer in europe, I advise you to buy it online though: you'll can just download it then. its 40 dollar, which is around 30 euros.

I will thanks, but now the website seems to be down, maybe they are working on the 'croatian problem' :)

Nevermind its up again, now the 'preorder' button changed to 'buy'.

They didn't fix the spelling mistakes though :)

End of quote

Because, somehow, based on your IP, Stardock thinks your computer is located in Croatia. How are you accessing to Internet? With a VPN? With which ISP?

The currency displayed to you is based on IP geolocation. For demigod there is no regional pricing though, so it is just a display of the current exchange on 39.95/49.95 USD. You'll be charged in USD regardless where you are at, and your bank would just convert it.
