Question about el Patch

Sorry, I know it's already posted info, but I haven't had much luck with search or scrunging.

 

I've installed the game, can't play it because it stops at the stardock logo. I know, I know, for good knows whatever reason you have to let the entire thing run through. Before that, is our client the most recent or do we still need the Day 0 patch? I can't find it for the life of me on impulse.

If the game hangs after the intro vids it is due to the excessive load currently on the prerelease servers. We're planning to have the final servers up tonight or tomorrow, and to leave the pirates with their unupdated copies on the beta server so they don't interfere with you guys.

Why not just kill the beta server so they don't get anything? :P

Thanks kryo, good to know. I'm not complaining, just thought it was weird. Now how about that Day 0 patch? I thought it was already out, though impulse says my client is still 1.00.
