2 misc questions

Quick questions- 

1)  Advent Communal Labor research tech-

I checked prices of structures before and after researching this item, and the costs stayed the same even though the description indicates there will be a higher cost.

Building time seemed the same a well...

Am I missing something, or can someone please explain what this tech does? and what cost impact there is?

 

2)  Healing ability of the support cruiser- When enabled, it doesn't seem to target (or activate).  Even after left clicking on the skill and targetting a ship, the skill still takes a few seconds to activate.  (Target definately in range too...)

I could swear Hoshikos have faster activation of their healing ability after I select the hoshiko and click on target, ie, maybe an instant effect...

Can anyone shed some light on this...Are all healing abilities equal (timing-wise)? :)

1) there is no autocast for communal labor to you builder ship : you need to activate autocast communal labor or take a builder ship and order him to use communal labor to a structure being actually built. For the cost, i also didn't notice anything but i didn't pay much attention

2) Yeah, the domina cruiser healing ability suks, particulary autocast. You have to micromanage it and even if you do, it's not worth hoshikos.

1)  There is an autocast button for communal labor; just right click to activate.  Its on the right side.

And yes when its on the constructors will help each other to build faster.
