Listened to the podcast.

It was fairly interesting to listen to what they had to say, considering that they seemed very new to the DotA type of genre.  However, they all seemed too "newbie" to really be commenting on the game.  It seemed like some of them have less than a handful of games which they have played, and any games against real people have been 1 on 1s within their group.

Lastly, stop calling the Rook a minotaur!

I really respect their little podcast group(Qt3 rules) and loved their commentary from earlier episodes, and I really like what they have to say. They did not like demigod- but I think that most of that is due to how new they are to the genre(as does raspyn).

But despite that, they really explained a lot about the game that i did not know- as I have not made it into the beta, and have gotten me more interested in the game- as I felt dota was a bit too hardcore. The stat tracking and perk system implemented has really gotten me excited, and even though they only talked about 1v1's : I really was happy when they complained about how it seemed like WWI grinding warfare, as that tidelike nature of DOTA is what I love most, along with the teamwork in the lanes. This podcast inspired me to buy the game, and another purchase for stardock :D!

Yeah, I listened t this too. They're mostly board gamers so they have a different outlook on their play styles.

I mentioned I run a Podcast too, in which my newest episode I talk a little bit about Demigod. I lose my train of thought a lot on it though as I discover my co-hosts are clueless to the genre.

I post links to it on my FUR Affinity page, as well as on iTunes. Lawl furries. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2174431

Ok, this is, with all due respect, nearly useless.  By their own admission they don't really know or appreciate RTS.  They basically don't seem to get the point of the game, how to accomplish success with it and they're "reviewing" a early beta.

I hope no one takes the the wrong way, but it wasn't worth the time to download, let alone the time to listen to.
