How to update?

There are 5 different ways to update my soase and entrechment

from Stardock Forums

hi, since i had problems with the update process last time i wondered what the intended standard would be.

edit: impulse version

logical possibilietes are

1. update soase, update entrechment(last time i got grafic issues,incomplete techtree ...

2. update entrechment, update soases(sounds wrong from the beinning to me)

3. update only entrechment(if its the only one you play sounds ok,but i didn't try)

4. update only soase(~)

5. deinstall all game files,download and install first soases then entrechment(time-consuming)

 

After i first tried option (1.) i then decided to make a reinstall (5.).

so my question is how to update regular,default,standart, by intention of the devs?

That i have to ask this question in the first place should bother the devs methinks.

1 is correct. There's probably something else peculiar going on besides Sins....

Impulse will normally make the decisions for you, no matter which one you click to update first.  It will update Sins first if needed, them Entrenchment.

@jjandrah i think it had something to do with the entrenchment beta, but as i renstalled it with the release it was ok.
