Release date

I'm about to pre-order this game on this site, but before I do so, I want to know when this game will be available in Europe?

On this site it counts down to April 14th, but that's for America, right? I've checked wikipedia where it's mentioned it's released March 27, is this true?

If so, I'll still get the game on Impulse April 14th right?

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else, I couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

Well, if you want to download it, the release date is international.
If you preorder the boxed edition, they will be shipped to arrive as closely as possible to the 14th, so i imagine it is an international launch...

btw if you preorder you have some bonuses like soundtracks, demigod theme for your desktop and so on.

March 27th is almost certainly wrong.  The wikipedia page probably just hasn't been updated in a while.

I don't know for sure but you'll probably be able to download the digital version on the same day as in the US, so April 14th would be correct.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Okey so I should get ready the 14th for an international release date. So, if I pre-order the retail version, it's automatically a CE edition, or so I've heard?

I live in Denmark, and I didn't see anything about shipping costs when I went to check out, where can I check this? Where's it being sent from, if I buy that retail edition?

I'll wait with the check out, before all this is settled. :)

Thanks.

I live in France and have preordered the boxed edition some months ago.

So:

1-yes, if you preorder, you obtain a CE edition, either a digital one or a boxed one
2-The cost will be calculated when you preorder, i dont remember well, but i am pretty sure you will see the cost before paying (anyway otherwise it would be kind of illegal i think^^). Thanks to the euro, it costed me 45€ (the regular price for a game in France) to buy that collector edition and ship it to me.

Ah, okey, it's because I've once ordered some books, and the shipping costs were only put on at the time I received them. So basically, I didn't get to know the total price, before I ordered.

It'll just be very expensive if I buy the boxed game, and then the price would get higher because of shipping. So I take it all shipping is included in the price?

Also, can I just buy the digital version, and I'll still get that desktop theme? :D

I'm not in an official position to give you a definite answer on that but at least that's how it has alwas been so far with games I purchased directly from Stardock. I live in Germany and buy the digital version most of the times. The really nice thing is that even when you buy at retail you can install the language you want by downloading from Impulse.
