1.04 Stardock Bug

For some reason, I am having to download the full lot whenever a beta patch comes out (i.e 86mb etc) Any advice as I am a Stratagyfirst -> Drengin Guy (I uninstalled Galciv and removed the stratagy first directory, and reinstalled via Dreingin). I hope something comes soon as I am currently at 17MB of 86MB so wish me luck

Seems be an bug. At apolyton somesone recommended to uncheck "show prerelease versions" to fix it.

For me, whenever Stardock wanted to d/l the whole 86MB again, I find selecting "Refresh Application Data" from the Stardock Central Tools menu to fix the problem. IMHO, it's not a problem with GalCiv, but with Stardock itself. That command reloads all the system files for Stardock, and that's always worked for me. Good luck!

I had this problem for the first time tiwh 1.04.

I uninstalled just GalCiv, reinstalled and the ptch was applied fine.

Yes, delete Galciv, reinstall a fresh 1.0 copy from CD, then Stardock it. Then there will only be about a 5.2 MB download. That's what did it for me.
