when you cut off trade slupply run does it effect the other players income? what I mean is when you start to prevent alot of trade ships from going anywhere whill that play stat to take a hit on his income? I havent notice if it does  but it would be nice to know that maybe making a blockade  does have an effect.

Every time you kill a trade ship, the trade port that created it suffers reduced income until it is replaced.
