Returning after a year, game speed question.

Hi, I bought this game right when it came out and played for a week or two.  I loved the game but due to design oversight or some other issue, the game speed was painfully slow for a 1v1 RTS.  3 hours to build, 2 hours to fight was too crazy.  I gave feedback on the issue and there were no developments.  I was just wondering if they have increased the speed of the game at all?  If I recall correctly, when I played over a year ago, the speeds were slow, medium and fast.  If they have increased speed was it significant?  I was hoping for something on the scale of 10 times faster. I am hoping to come back, give me good news!!!

You can now speed up the game up to 8x in SP (+/- keys). It's been a long time, but I think the default speed options have been adjusted upwards a bit as well, so it should be pretty close to what you're looking for.

It's still not quick by the standards of other RTS games (a "short" Sins game is still long by the standards of most other titles out there).  However, it's not that bad anymore.  Five or six hour games occur in huge multi-star scenarios, not in a small 1v1 on fast settings.

You can change the game speed to fast when you set up a multi player game.  check it out it's much faster.

I too discovered this game from the beginning....But because i have never been a real gamer, i was quite intriged from the start. I had to reinstall my game recently....cool thing was, my best friend had to do the same.   We decided to wait on upgrading and just play a one vs one for shits and giggles.....And i can say without a doubt this game has evolved like Jesus and shit....Give it the upgrades and give it another chance....But prepared to get ur ass kicked before u get a handle...Just watch the replays and counter.....The competition is fierce......Great strategy...but...unless u know the counters u may get spammed into submission...Be calm...and xpect to lose a few...But if u pay attention there is usually a counter...You really have to pay attention!!!!  u cant be texting ur girl and shit...Every second counts..
