GalCiv II Impulse download not working

I tried to download Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords twice in the last two weeks.

But for some reason the download installs, but when I start the game I cannot start a campaign or play it at all.

Are the latest patches not installed by default? What is wrong?


I activated the product correctly, but it did not work.

I bought the German version of GalCiv 2 from Amazon.de, and the code was accepted by Impulse. Must I use my CD for installation?
Does it matter that I registered the game on my old laptop, I got a new laptop by now.

I am really confused, because I downloaded Sins of a Solar Empire over Impulse and it worked nicely, but for some reason GalCiv II does not work.

Can someone give me the e-mail address of Stardock's Impulse Support?
