He's saying that you should hear a port in when it happens locally and also that using ports should temporarily debuff your DG. Both of these would alter the current teleport ambush dynamic we've got now.
A 1 sec stun on port arrival might be interesting.
Wow, I actually really like this. Sound only, or maybe also with a blue dot for "point of landing", might be really cool. ! second stun would suck, but a drop of 30% movement for 1 second and no abilities for 2 secs would be great. Teleport attacks are so much fun, but I suppose we should balance them eventually.
I wonder what the meatspace recovery time is for a karate srudent to drop 1 meter with their eyes closed and locate/strike an opponnent
Oooo yes...Teleport Ambush does need some sort of nerf. All these ides for it sound great..
It depends on the student, and how long they've had their eyes closed before dropping.
