Ironclad and Stardock have released the v1.13 update for Sins of a Solar Empire and Beta 2 for the Entrenchment micro-expansion today.  Both updates are now available exclusively via Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com).

In a sad twist of fate, my internet was down when I got home and was still down when I left for work this morning. All this looking forward to and drooling over the beta, and I couldn't even get it. :(

Gonna try to see if the work PC lets me install Impulse and download it, brought my usb key :x

aaawww, this sucks Anny.  I was able to download and run it.  Played a small map to get a quick game in and played for a couple of hours.  It was nice...hopefully, you'll get some time this weekend.

Plus, everything ran fine except for a couple of run-time errors.  I will post this, but not for sure where I should start the thread.  Can you direct me accordingly?

:P Well, I hope nobody at work noticed the 10 minutes of me downloading Sins + Entrenchment. If anyone doubts the speed of Stardock servers, I was downloading at about 3.7 mb/sec on the work connection. Now let's hope I can fit it on my USB key.. it's only 1gb, but since I'm doing a manual patch I can skip most of the Textures folder, except the Argonev files so it should fit.

... Things we do to play Sins, eh?

My 5 year old 256mb just died yesterday morning, so I ended up loosing some minor updated on my website when transfering it to the webhosting server at home.

Mine's old. :P Haven't had to use it for a long time. I only got it because a friend of mine wanted some of my music and I she didn't have wireless set up at the old place :P I get about 750-800 kb/s at home so it's close enough!
