Not sure if this is the right section, but I think it's the closest one 
I played in this map yesterday, after adding a few planets, redoing phase lanes and just generally basic layout stuff it won't work any longer. It says all opponents has been defeated. What have I done wrong? Apart from being a lousy map creator.
Make sure you gave your opponet a planet, preferably a homeworld. Otherwise, you have no enemies with planets, thus you automatically win (or lose if you have random positions on).
I think I remember having the same problem. But It was because the map I was using was the wrong version.
You can change it by opening the .galaxy in notepad (or whatever) and changing the version number from 1 to 2 (IF there is a problem with the cersion numbers)
I sorted it out. I had two SoSE installations, and I was moving the map to the other directory than the shortcut was using.
User error 40.
